A free fantasy MMO, right in your browser.
Choose your god, master their classes, and carve out your place in Lumoria!
Seven Gods are waiting for you to pick a side. The god you kneel to decides your class, your skills, and the road you walk from your first fight to your last. Everything you earn along the way, you keep.
The game is in closed alpha, so things break and numbers change. Telling us what went wrong is the most useful thing you can do.
In the beginning, there were eight gods
Eight gods created this world. Seven of them gave up their light in order to build it. The eighth god couldn’t bear to give his light away. Light that is never given fades. Fearing him, the other seven sealed him deep underground. Your journey starts on the road above him.

Choose your god
At level 10 you’ll kneel to one of the seven gods and join their order. That one choice shapes everything after it: the class tree you climb, the skills you learn, the hall you’ll call home, and the trials waiting at the top. Choose well, adventurer.

Aegemar
Aegemar builds walls to shelter what is inside them, and stands outside all of them.

Caelendra
Caelendra wrote the world in one night of falling stars and has regretted exactly one word of it since.

Sylvara
Sylvara hunts a wild that obeys nobody, herself included.

Aurelith
Aurelith is the dawn that was never allowed to end.

Vesperine
Vesperine offers quiet endings and keeps the name the others struck.

Ignivar
Ignivar says every mortal talent is one of his escaped sparks.

Fenriel
Fenriel the Packmother gives the bond between a soul and a wild thing.

Every order, every job, every skill.
Hunt the things that hunt you
When a god’s power spills into the world, it grows into creatures. Most of those creatures are friendly and harmless. Ten of them are not, and those ten have names. Gear up, adventurer. Bring friends, bring a plan, and you may just get rewarded with a rare drop that you’ll be wearing for a long time!

Cosy on top. A real MMO underneath.
The art is warm and your first hour is gentle. Everything under it is built like the games you already lost years to. Parties, dungeons that belong to you and your friends, crafting, real loot tables, and an endgame that keeps going.
Seven gods. Seven orders. One oath.
Every god opens up a class tree of their own. You’ll take your first class at 10, choose your branch at 40, and master it at 70, keeping every skill you earned on the way up. Nothing you learn ever gets taken off you.
Learn more →Dungeons that belong to your party
Every order has its own dungeon under its hall, and below those the floors just keep going down. No queue, no kill-stealing, no waiting your turn. The whole place is yours and your party’s.
Learn more →Craft gear worth wearing
Salvage what you don’t need, forge what you do, and reinforce your gear until it’s properly yours. No spreadsheets, and no second character you’re forced to level just to make your own kit.
Learn more →Swear a second oath
Reach the top and you can kneel to a second god, fusing two orders into a class only veterans get to play. There are 21 pairings in the world and there’ll never be a twenty-second.
Learn more →Bosses that come looking for you
Ten bosses in Lumoria have names. Seven of them sit at the bottom of a dungeon waiting for you to come down and finish your class’s story. The last three do not wait for anybody. Those three wander the open world, and they will find you long before you are ready for them.
Learn more →No download. No launcher.
Open a tab and you’re standing in the world. Walk with WASD, cast with the number keys, and play on whatever machine you happen to be sitting at.
Learn more →Watch it get built
One person is building this whole world, and every update gets written up as it happens. What shipped, what broke, and what it took to fix.
All seven class trees now have their art
Every class in all seven trees is drawn now. Each tree is one girl and one boy who keep the same face the whole way up, so climbing into your next class gets you new armour, not a new person.

Eight gods, one sealed. Seven orders, one class tree each, Ragnarok-style branching. The old pantheon was too generic to keep.

Free to play, straight from your browser. Take your time picking a god. All seven of them are still waiting.
Get into the alpha
There is an eighth Open this if you want to know who the eighth god was.
Seven spent their share of the First Light making things: walls, words, wilds, hearths, mercies, forges, bonds. The eighth could not bear to spend his, and light that is never given fades. What was left of it hardened, and the coins learned to walk.
The seven sealed him and his glittering vaults beneath the world, and struck his name from every record. The Starspire keep a book with one word crossed out. The Dawnflame set a place at the hearth for someone they will not name. The Moonveil keep the name itself, and will not give it up. You will hear him called the Sunless King, and the table where the seven still meet has eight chairs. Nobody moves the eighth chair.
